What information will be provided regarding the walks (hikes)?
When we acknowledge your booking we will send you an outline itinerary of the walks which feature on your chosen tour. Two weeks prior to commencement of the tour (or immediately if your booking is made at short notice) we will send you comprehensive information on your accommodation, contact information for your driver, and general information on the area which you will be visiting. If you live in the UK the information will be send by mail and will be accompanied by a pack containing the relevent maps and a set of laminated route cards. If you are travelling from abroad we will send you the same information by E.Mail (including the text of the route cards), but the laminated route cards, maps and guidebooks will be sent to the guesthouse at which you will be staying.
The route description cards will detail the directions to take to complete the walk, provide information regarding places of interest along the route (including opening times and entrance costs, if applicable), tell you where you can find refreshments and toilets, and give you a reminder of where and at what time you will be picked up by your return transport.
