Single Centre Self-guided Holidays
As a first step towards booking your self-guided tour we recommend that you check that suitable accommodation is available for your preferred dates by either telephoning our office, completing an availability check form (button adjacent to each tour on the website), or sending us an e-mail. We will let you know as soon as possible whether accommodation is available.
Booking and payment
If accommodation is available and you wish to go ahead and confirm a booking we will require a deposit of £250 per person, per tour (or per week, or part thereof, if the tour last more than seven nights), or full payment if the booking is being made within eight weeks of commencement of the tour.
If you wish to go ahead and confirm a booking please read our booking conditions and then either:
1. Send us your details and credit card payment using our secure online booking facility. We can accept Mastercard or Visa, but not American Express.
2. Guests who prefer to pay by direct transfer to our bank account should complete the booking form, other than the credit card details and then contact us for the necessary bank account details.
Confirmation of your booking
On receipt of your booking form and deposit we will send you confirmation of your reservation and an invoice for the balance of payment. The balance of payment must reach us at least eight weeks prior to the commencement of the tour and the due date will be detailed on the invoice. If the balance is not received by the due date we cannot guarantee to continue to hold the reservation and may cancel your booking. If we do cancel your booking in such circumstances we will retain your deposit and may also apply cancellation charges.
Two weeks prior to commencement of the tour (or immediately if your booking is made at short notice) we will send you comprehensive information on your accommodation, contact information for your driver, and general information on the area which you will be visiting. If you live in the UK the information will be send by mail and will be accompanied by a pack containing the relevent maps and a set of laminated route cards. If you are travelling from abroad we will send you the same information by E.Mail (including the text of the route cards), but the laminated route cards, maps and guidebooks will be sent to the guesthouse at which you will be staying.
